These two gems were married last month. I loved this wedding and them so much that I wanted to share it!
On my drive to this wedding I heard the announcement that Lebron James was coming back to Cleveland. The very AIR in Cleveland seemed alive with excitement, and carried throughout the wedding day. Christine is a graphic designer so her talented touch on all of the decor and details made every element of the wedding stunningly beautiful. Aside from the gorgeous venues, and details all over, what really stood out to me and made the day memorable was the mood created by the bride and groom. They were super laid back and yet somehow simultaneously filled to the brim with energy and EXTREME HAPPINESS that was so contagious. Thanks, Jeff and Christine, for letting me be a part of your day and for making my job such a joy!

This was my kind of maternity shoot. Nothing but a happy [crazy in love] couple and a big beautiful round belly being photographed at sunset. I’ll photograph this again a million times please. So happy for my sister and brother-in-law and the family they are creating.
In just a few weeks my younger sister will be having her first baby so to celebrate we (meaning my sister Rachel and myself) wanted to create a party that would be intimate and special while utilizing the beautiful backdrop of nature and the gorgeous summer weather. Starting with the use of a friend’s backyard and the making of a makeshift low table, we then gathered various blankets, drop cloths and white sheets. To complete the decor we added to that some pops of bright pink decorations – because she’s having a girl so of course, some toy animals, queens anne’s lace (cut from the side of Rachel’s apartment building – so pretty and free!) in random glass bottles, and some cabbage plants in brown paper in white mugs. Of course the most important element was the people – close family and friends gathered around. It was a perfectly lovely day and a great way to celebrate the new life about to join the family.

Stephen and Concetta planned all the decor and details for their wedding with care and thoughtfulness making it a direct reflection of both their tastes and interest. It was a small intimate celebration with the people closest to them. The Hedge Gallery at 78th Street Studios couldn’t have a been a better fit, it served as a perfect location and space for this event. I was so happy to be there to document this gorgeously unique wedding with these wonderful people.
